Lunchtime Lecture
From Extraction to Regeneration: Designing Sacred Interventions of Care
This lecture reframes design as a relational practice rather than a technical solution, asking how we live well together across human and more than human worlds. Drawing on design anthropology, kinship research, and community led creative practice, it explores how regeneration emerges through care, craft, and collective learning.
Curriculum Vitae
I am a design anthropologist whose work is informed by Rosi Braidotti’s Nomadic theory (Braidotti, 1994; 2011), living across and between cultures and shaped by transnational currents of people, materials, and meaning. This perspective informs both my creative practice and the lens through which I view the world, exploring the ways design can be regenerative bringing together diverse communities, knowledge systems, and practices to address the interconnected challenges of culture, ecology, and society.
