    Materiautech® - The hands-on plastics materials library

Materiautech® was developed to introduce plastics processors, designers, engineering departments, and anyone else interested to the innovations and wide range of solutions that plastics offer. Our goal is to compile all information about materials, their applications, and processing methods. Materiautech® thus serves as a platform for exchange between product designers and plastics manufacturers.

As part of a collaborative project between the New Design University, the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce, and ecoplus. Niederösterreichs Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH, the Materiautech® plastics materials library was made available for the first time in the German-speaking world at the New Design University.

MAT–DAYS – Networking Across the Value Chain

MAT–DAYS provides an annual platform where raw material manufacturers, technology providers, designers, and engineers come together. The goal of the event is to foster collaboration across the entire value chain and to jointly develop innovative ideas.

There is a particular focus on plastics and their processing—from new material developments and manufacturing technologies to applications in product design.

The focus is on current developments and forward-looking applications in fields such as materials technology, design, and industrial production. The program also addresses socially relevant topics such as sustainability, recycling, the circular economy, and other technological innovations, examining them from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Through expert presentations, hands-on workshops, and open discussion forums, new ideas for research, development, and industrial collaboration are generated. MAT–DAYS strengthen the connection between science, business, and design—and create a space for innovation and sustainable material solutions.
