TUITION FEE

These amount to 530 € per month or 3,150 € per semester and are increased each year in line with inflation. The increase is implemented at the start of the winter semester based on the consumer price index for the previous year, January to December, and capped at a maximum of 5% with the increase being rounded up to the nearest 10 €.

Please also note, in addition to your tuition fees it is a compulsory requirement that all students pay their student union membership fee (“OH” Fees). This fee is currently 21.20 € per semester (status: September 2022)

FINANCIAL SUPPORT OPTIONS

There are a number of options available to help you finance your studies at the New Design University. However, please note that most public grants require a prior three-year residence in Austria before applying. Further options are international and private scholarships and grants as well as student loans.

Admission requirements

Applicants for the bachelor’s degree course in Management by Design must furnish proof of a higher education entrance qualification.

Another condition for admission is that applicants pass an entrance examination to test their aptitude for the course. The entrance examination consists of a written part (mathematics and knowledge of German) and an admission interview.

There are usually three entrance examination dates to choose from.
