In this course, you opt for one of the two specialisms: Graphic Design or Information Design. The first year is identical for both branches, the specialisation takes place during the second and third year. After mastering the basics (typography, layout etc.), the path through graphic design takes you through the 'classic' disciplines: advertising, packaging design, type design, editorial design. In the information design specialism, on the other hand, you will deal with data visualisation, charts and maps, as well as with sign and symbol design - for both analogue and digital media.
