"For the work on my bachelor thesis, I dived into the world of analogue photography, because I have a personal connection to photography - it was my original cause how I came to design, or to graphic and information design.
The main part of the work is an information design magazine about analogue photography. A short history of photography, the most important cameras and lenses, different film types and their properties are presented in the form of text and information visualizations, as well as a comparison of analogue and digital photography and interviews with three interlocutors on different areas of analogue photography. In addition to the print magazine, there is an interactive online teaser of the magazine, which was implemented with the online publishing tool Readymag.
A DIN A5 booklet showing my family's found and chronologically sorted prints is the personal part of the work. It also includes an interview with my dad who showed me the photography using his old analog cameras. "
