3100 – A Creative Controversy with the City of St. Pölten

Using different conceptual approaches, characteristics of the respective locations were worked out and graphically supported by different forms of presentation. The very personal approach to the subject of St. Pölten offers the viewer insights on an unconventional, emotional level, whereby the publication is strongly differentiated from a travel guide in the classical sense. The fact that visual and material content was created in cooperation with the city and its inhabitants and not about them, reinforces the impression of a personal printed matter that holds and documents St. Pölten's idiosyncrasies. In addition, the interest in exploring the city should be awakened, as well as animated to accept unconventional perspectives.
